  • Day 02: Full Day Denpasar Bali City Tour: Museums & Traditional Markets

    Breakfast at Hotel-Most tourists fly into Denpasar and immediately travel onwards to b or Canggu. Ever think you might just be missing out? Newsflash: Denpasar is home to excellent museums and markets worth a visit. We’re taking you on a day tour of the Balinese capital stopping at the following points of interest:

    Monument Bajra Sandi: Built in 1987, this monument details the struggles of the Balinese throughout history. From the Dutch occupation to countless natural disasters, life hasn’t always been smooth sailing for the locals. This attractive monument built in traditional Balinese style is the ideal place to learn more. Badung Food Market: Next we’ll take a Bali food tour at this authentic market, a far cry from the smoothie bowls of Canggu cafes. Here you’ll find traditional Balinese dishes including nasi goreng, gado gado and nasi campur. Your guide will help you pick out the best bits! Kumbasari Art Market: This enormous Bali market is busy, local and quite the experience. The prices are well below the tourist markets in Bali, so make sure to get your colourful handicrafts here.

    Bali Museum: Detailing Balinese history and displaying countless works of Indonesian art, this is an unmissable stop for culture vultures visiting Denpasar. You’ll have 1.5 hours to tour the gallery, expanding your understanding of Bali. Werdhi Budaya Art Centre: Our final stop of the tour will be this colourful art centre and cultural complex. Here you can see works of art, learn about Balinese handicrafts and even catch cultural shows.

  • Day 03: Ulun Danu Temple & Nungnung Waterfall

    Breakfast at Hotel-Looking to escape the towns and cities and experience Balinese nature at its finest? With an awesome alternative to Ubud Monkey Forest up our sleeves, we’re excited to take you on the ultimate road trip around Secret Bal.

    We’ll pick you up bright and early and reach Sangeh Monkey Forest before the crowds do. This lesser-known monkey forest receives far fewer visitors than the famous Ubud sight which makes it a serene and peaceful place to stroll while meeting cheeky grey macaque monkeys.
    Next, we have a treat in store: a visit to Nungnung Waterfall, a 165-metre drop hidden in the rainforest. You’ll be able to take a dip and snap your photos before we stop for a tasty Balinese lunch at a local restaurant.

    Our final stop will be Ulun Danu Temple, a Hindu water temple with spectacular mountain views on the banks of Lake Beratan. Your guide will explain the history of this serene floating temple located 1,200 metres above sea level. It’s for sure a spectacular end to the tour before we transfer you back to your hotel

  • Day 04: Full Day Gate of Heaven

    Breakfast at Hotel-Depart early in the morning heading to Lempuyang temple, Lempuyang Temple, locally referred to as Pura Lempuyang Luhur, is one of Bali’s oldest and most highly regarded temples, on par with Besakih (aka the ‘mother temple’ of Bali). It is also believed to predate the majority of Hindu temples on the island. Definitely a highlight on any travel itinerary for the fit and adventurous, the main temple lies at 1,175m above sea level, up on the peak of the namesake Mount Lempuyang in East Bali. Continue to visit Taman Ujung ‘water palace’, with its complete and official designation of Taman Sukasada Ujung, is located in the village of Seraya in Karangasem regency. It is the sister site of Tirta Gangga, also built by the late raja of Karangasem. The complex consists of various large pools and historic structures set against a backdrop of Mount Agung and the eastern shoreline. Next, enjoy your lunch at one of local restaurant with rice field and the majestic Mt. Agung view. At the end of the day before transfer back to Hotel, stop at the Virgin Beach. It’s known by many names because of it’s beauty, it’s nature, and its still original ( pure ). The atmosphere is calm, and the water is very clear. Over night at Hotel.
